25th February Tabletop Sale

Just a quick update on how we fared from yesterdays tabletop sale at the URC hall.

As some of you will be aware, there was a low turnout of customers – possibly due in part to the Guild coffee morning – who knows. Our takings were therfore down on what we might otherwise expect. Having said that, everyone worked very hard and at final totalling the Savoy has made £313.80 for the club funds from the event.

Thanks to everyone who came to help or donated bacon and baking and to everyone who came through the door.

Rehearsals  are well under way for our Spring Concert, including a performance of Trial By Jury by G&S, but it is not too late to join us!

2012 Show Announced!

The Helensburgh Savoy Musical Theatre Group are delighted to announce that our main show this autumn will be Fiddler on the Roof. Rehearsals and auditions will take begin late spring/early summer after our Trail By Jury & Spring Concert performance (Friday 27th April, Pillar Hall, Victoria Halls, 7:30pm).

We look forward to working on this production with both old and new members over the coming months.
